Are you sick of having to use your bulky computer? Do you want to bring a computer with you so you can surf the net anywhere, anytime? Are you fed up with the complicated wiring of your personal computer? The answer to your problem is a laptop. A laptop is what you need if you want all of these problems solved. A laptop is a portable computer that you can bring anywhere with you. And if you are in a wi-fi area, you can access the net with your laptop. Convenience is the main thing that a laptop can provide. But there are things you have to consider when choosing a laptop. In this article, I will be enumerating five laptops that for me should be considered when purchasing one. These gadgets are the must-have brands and you may want to choose from this list.
First in the list is the Gateway E-475M. Speed is its main feature. What’s more, it has very long battery life, able to last for over 5 hours. However, this laptop does not come cheap ($1,300 to be exact), which is considered the laptop’s only downside. Its speed is recorded at 2.2 GHz and has a Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, which is the latest from Intel. The screen of this laptop is measured at 15.4 inches and weighs at 7.2 pounds. Not only this, its appearance is very sleek. Next up is the HP Pavillion DV6500T. It performs excellently and has a very lustrous design. It is light, weighing at 6.2 pounds. It has a screen of 15.4 inches as well. It offers the HP QuickPlay feature as well. However, it comes short of the Gateway with only a 4-hour battery life. Plus, it is costly but the features offered by the Pavillion are certainly worth it. The Lenovo ThinkPad R61 is also something to consider. It is one-of-a-kind with its illuminating keyboard, a feature called ThinkLight. If you are in dark places, then this feature would be useful, especially in traveling. It is lightweight, weighing 5.8 pounds. But what’s good about this laptop is that it has a fingerprint reader, ensuring the safety of files that are for personal use only. It also uses the 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor. But beware because it can be used for as long as 3 hours only. Another HP Pavilion model is included in the list, the DV2500T. It is very light and fashionable. Unlike other HP laptops, it is affordable. The processor it uses is not the latest but is good enough, the Intel 2 GHz Core 2 Duo T7300. It also has the HP QuickPlay feature. It weighs 5.5 pounds which is great for traveling. Unfortunately, it only has a 2.5-hour battery life span. Ending the list of laptops to consider is the Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757. It made its way to the list not because of the performance but because it is affordable and has a full-sized keyboard. This laptop is not much but it comes with a DVD burner, FireWire ports and ExpressCard and memory card slots. If you are looking for a laptop that is for basic use affordable, the Toshiba Satellite A215-S4757 might be the laptop for you.
Now that you have a guide, you may start evaluating the laptops so you would not make mistakes in choosing which one to purchase. All these mentioned laptops can offer features that you might be looking for in a typical laptop.
